Coming Back Strong #discoveraustralia

If you missed out on Lost Paradise in 2014 and you regret it; then you’ll regret not going this year like that time you missed the beat drop and fell over in the middle of the dance circle at that high school party forever to be known as Beat-root. Don’t be like that.

Festival Worlds called organiser Wade Cawood for 5 must-do moments to capture the best Lost Paradise experience.

1. GRIZZLY

The secret weapon is Berlin based DJ and Producer – Grizzly. He plays old disco edits and music for the moment. I saw him at Fusion festival in Berlin a few years ago and I’ve been following his Soundcloud since. I’ve been trying to book Grizzly for ages but I couldn’t get anyone else to get pumped up about him so I did it myself. I’ve got him playing a three hour set at the paradise club around sunset on NYE. So I will definitely be in the crowd for that. Also check out the whole line-up here & below:

2. AIR-CONDITIONED CINEMA (LOST FLIX & CHILL)

That’s going to go down a treat this year. We’ve actually built a 30-people cinema with air-conditioning. It is hot that time of year so whether you’re hungover or not there will be some time of the day you should kick back and watch a movie for a few hours. This is a 4 day festival remember and each artist created area and activity should be experienced. We’ve got a mix of films for all ages and headspaces from Jurassic World to Human Traffic. On the set times we included the movie times so plan ahead.

3. CHEF SIMON SUTCLIFFE AND THE LOST FEAST

There are a few things we made sure to keep from last years Lost Paradise and the Lost Feast, presented by Bondi’s reliably gourmet Corner House, is one not to miss. Award Winning UK Chef Simon Sutcliffe will prepare the banquet-style meal. Chef Sutcliffe most recently held title as Head Chef at 2 AA Rosette restaurant, Les Trois Garcons in London and after a day of festivalling this is a sure fire to enter into a fully satisfied food coma.

4. THE CLOUDY BAY BEACH BAR and THE FIVE SEEDS GARDEN BAR

At Cloudy Bay we’re serving wine by the glass mixed with a lot of shade. There are day beds stretched out by the creek for easy access to the water so get your day started here. Then we’ve got the Five Seeds Garden Bar, which is essentially going to be a beer garden but with cider. These two bars will have that much needed shade and the Garden Bar will be the best viewing area for the main stage acts so get comfortable.

5. HOT TUBS CAN BE COLD

I’ve got the last thing for that scorching temperature. Hot tubs that are hot & cold. These are all together at the Paradise Spa so head there and jump into a cold hot tub when the sun is baking. We’ve organised many different ways for you to cool off this Lost Paradise but this could be one of the best ways. Cool off in the middle of the day and prepare yourself for the start of 2016.
